Letter From Your Pastor
The fall season is about to begin, and we have a new
line-up for UUMC-U-ON-WEDNESDAY. This year will kick off
on September 10 with dinner, a presentation by
our puppet team, and presentations by class leaders. We
will follow dinner with the serving of traditional
Pakistani tea by Lenora Jadun, who will wear traditional
dress. The tea is an entrée into the book study,
sponsored by Church and Society, on Three Cups of
Tea, a fascinating and inspiring story that will
stimulate conversation about our own faith journeys.
Actual classes begin on September 17.
We also will be blessed by good food prepared by our
cooking team, currently comprised of Linda Efaw, Vicki
Belloli and Rhonda Zimmerman. We still need one more
volunteer to take one Wednesday a month to round out our
team. Amy Grant, a Wesley Foundation student, will
coordinate clean-up. Keep your ears open, she will be
asking for volunteers. Please join us on Wednesday
nights for great fun, fellowship and spiritual growth.
Below is the schedule for our first session.
Blessings,
Pastor Kennetha Bigham-Tsai
