Would you like to be in a pageant?
Priscilla Pageant Preparations: Priscilla is the main
character of the book “Priscilla McDoodle-Nut DoodleMcMae asks “Why?” by author
Janet Mary Sinke. The book promotes the power of the Spirit within each of us,
regardless how small, and the importance of respecting and accepting all God’s
children. During the Children’s Sabbath worship service on May 18, the UUMC
children will perform “Priscilla.” Author Janet Sinke will read her story,
while our children act it out, and sing original music written by our children’s
choir director Sarah Jones and music director Kristin Zaryski. For the weeks
leading up to the pageant, the lessons of Priscilla will be woven into the
children’s ministry curriculum on Wednesday nights. All children and youth are
welcome to participate! Please join us on April 2 to see how you can be
involved! We need actors, singers, and helpers! We have a place for you!
