What You Can Do For Peace:

       1. Pray fervently and regularly for peace.  

       2. Join with other Christians and with interfaith sisters and brothers in public witness to our desire for lasting peace with justice.  

       3. Offer support to service personnel overseas and to their families, as well as prayer for military personnel and their families from other countries.

       4. Pray for protection from harm for innocent civilians, especially children.  

       5. Light a candle in your window every night until peace comes.  

       6. Continue dialogue about just war and justice, without rancor toward those who disagree with you.  

       7. Pray for protection from terrorism for all.  

       8. Publicly denounce all forms of hatred toward ethnic groups or people of other faiths
